The NDPC will Participate in the National Homeland Security Conference

The National Domestic Preparedness Consortium will offer several training opportunities at the National Homeland Security Conference in Tampa, FL, June 28-30. Attendees can register for the NDPC courses listed below on the conference website at

  • AWR 148: Crisis Management for School Based Incidents - Partnering Rural LE, First Responders, & Schools

  • AWR 313: Homemade Explosives: Awareness, Recognition and Response

  • Introduction to Radiological/Nuclear WMD Operations for Law Enforcement

  • AWR 319: Leveraging Tools for Conducting Damage Assessments

  • AWR 325: Site Protection and Document Screening Techniques

  • PER 331: Surface Transportation and Emergency Planning for Senior Officials

  • For those unfamiliar with the NDPC, an NDPC representative will discuss the unique training opportunities offered by its seven member organizations, which specialize in the areas of chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, explosive, medical, critical infrastructure, and incident management during a presentation on June 30 from 9 a.m. - 10 a.m. in Room 10.

    Also, don’t forget to visit us in the exhibit hall! The NDPC will be in booths 109 & 111, and each member organization will be located in individual adjacent booths.
