Communities often need to distribute large quantities of items, such as personal protective equipment, water and other supplies, particularly following a catastrophic event or other disaster.
FEMA’s Center for Domestic Preparedness is developing a Virtual Instructor-Led Training course to teach responders how to plan for and conduct such large-scale distribution operations.
The Community Mass Distribution Operations offering will be about an hour and a half long and cover various approaches to planning and distributing materials.
Intended for those involved in planning and execution of community and other large-scale distribution operations, the course is expected to be available in the next 30 days.
