The International Association of Directors of Law Enforcement Standards and Training (IADLEST) recently re-certified the Center for Domestic Preparedness’ Field Force Operations (FFO) Course.
IADLEST is a national organization which promotes standards in law enforcement training.
The three-day FFO course achieved the IADLEST’s National Certification Program Seal of Excellence for the second time. The first time was the course’s initial certification in 2019.
IADLEST certification signifies the course meets the organization’s rigorous standards and can affix the IADLEST certification seal to any of its promotional and instructional materials. The seal will also accompany the course description on the IADLEST’s First Forward website (https://www.firstforward.com/).
FFO teaches responders to safely control crowds, to include demonstrations. In addition to the IADLEST certification, the course is also recognized by Federal Law Enforcement Training Accreditation, which sets national standards for federal and state law enforcement training.
The FFO course is the only CDP course certified by IADLEST. However, all 39 CDP courses eligible for accreditation have been endorsed by various national and international law enforcement, medical and other organizations.
