Responders interested in applying for Center for Domestic Preparedness training will soon be able to do so with the help of a mobile app.

The CDP app will be available for download on both Apple and Android phones and allow prospective students to establish a CDP training account. Prospective students and alumni will also be able to use it to search and apply for available course offerings using a search feature or QR code.

Additionally, it will have the phone numbers and organizational email addresses of key CDP departments and a navigation link, which individuals can use to track their physical location on campus.

The app is being developed by the CDP’s information technology directorate and is currently in its final stages of testing.

If all goes as planned, the developers hope the app will be ready for download in early fall.
